If you aren\u2019t already aware, Zapier is an automation tool that connects all of your apps\u200a\u2014\u200aallowing them to work together so that you reduce the amount of time you spend on everyday tasks, making productivity a breeze. 1,000+ apps are available for integration.<\/span><\/p>\n

Getting started with Zapier is simple. First, create a Zapier account create what are known as<\/span> \u201czaps.\u201d<\/span><\/a> Zaps consist of two parts: picking a trigger app and establishing an action app.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Trigger\u2014 you choose an event in any given app that you\u2019d like Zapier to keep tabs on like, \u201cNew Dropbox File is Created,\u201d or \u201cNew Row is Updated in Google Sheets.\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Action\u200a\u2014\u200athis is what happens when the trigger is set off. Zapier will automatically send a notification into Voxer letting you know the file was created\/updated, reducing time spent going back and forth between apps.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Set up a \u201czap\u201d and get alerted every time you receive new<\/span> Gmail<\/span><\/a> messages (i.e\u200a\u2014\u200ayour boss) a notification will get posted into a Voxer chat.<\/span><\/p>\n
