How is Voxer Business different than Voxer and Voxer Pro?
If you are looking for a solution for a company with more than 20 people and team management, then you will need Voxer Business. Voxer & Voxer Pro are made for individuals and small groups.

What devices does Voxer work on?
Voxer is a free application that can be downloaded onto any iOS (iPhone, iPad or iPod), or Android device.

How much data does Voxer use?
Voxer uses a minimal amount of data. The average audio message on Voxer is about 7 seconds and uses about 14KB of data. Text messages on Voxer average about 700 bytes of data. To put this in context, to hit 1GB of data sending messages on our service, you would need to send approximately 34,000 voice messages or 1.5 million text messages.

What security is used for Voxer Business?
Voxer Business uses TLS/SSL for over-the-wire/air communication. Private Chats on Voxer uses end-to-end encryption. Voxer uses FIPS compliance storage on the device if the device is configured to use a lock code. For specific business requests we can do custom installations.

How does Voxer compare with Sprint Direct Connect, AT&T EPTT and other apps?
The most notable difference between Voxer and other systems is live and recorded audio messaging. Other PTT solutions are live-only, which means communication is lost when someone is busy or unavailable. We have over 100 issued patents that protect our proprietary technology. Voxer also has multimedia integration (text, photo and location sharing) which many live-only voice services do not offer.
Our service works on any cellular phone or WiFi-enabled iOS or Android device that can download apps. You do not need to purchase a proprietary device for the app to work, and each user can use their preferred device.
Some cellular based PTT services still only work on a 3G network, we work on any available data network - 2G, 3G, 4G, and WiFi. We pick the best available network to send a message. The message is sent as the data is received.
Voxer also works on the web and allows for easy international communication at no additional cost, and allows for group chats of up to 500 users, while EPTT only allows for 200.
